🏆 300 Total Marks
-1 Negative Marking

Phase 1: The Math of Survival

The introduction of 1/3rd Negative Marking is a brutal change. Previously, blind guessing had no penalty. Now, 3 wrong answers wipe out the gain of 1 correct answer. You cannot afford to “Guess All”.

Scenario Attempts Correct Wrong Score Calculation Final Score
High Accuracy 90 75 15 (75 × 3) – (15 × 1) 210 / 300
Average Risk 95 65 30 (65 × 3) – (30 × 1) 165 / 300
Blind Guessing 100 55 45 (55 × 3) – (45 × 1) 120 / 300
💡 Golden Rule: If you cannot eliminate at least 2 options, SKIP THE QUESTION. The cost of a wrong guess (-1) is too high.

Target Score: 220+ Marks (74+ Correct Net)

With negative marking, the cutoff will likely hover around 210-220 marks (out of 300). Here is how to practice:

Round 1 (100% Sure)
Attempt only questions you know. If you reach 60, you are safe.
Round 2 (50-50)
Attempt questions where you eliminated 2 options. Probability favors you here.
Round 3 (The Trap)
Questions where you have no clue. LEAVE THEM.
